7. Submission and handling of confidential information
If the information submitted by the interested party to the ministry of commerce is confidential, it may request and explain the reasons for the confidential processing of the relevant information to the ministry of commerce. If the mofcom agrees to its request, the interested party applying for confidentiality shall provide a non-confidential summary of the confidential information at the same time. A non-confidential outline should contain sufficient and meaningful information to enable other interested parties to have a reasonable understanding of confidential information. If the information submitted by the interested party does not indicate that the information is confidential, the mofcom shall view the information as public information.
