Polyanionic cellulose (PAC) is the derivatives of water-soluble cellulose ethers and made of natural cellulose by chemical modification.
Polyanionic cellulose has good thermal stability, salt tolerance and antibacterial.

Application

1. Flocculation: PAM can make suspended substances act as flocculants by neutralizing electricity and bridging adsorption.

2. Adhesiveness: It can play an adhesive role through mechanical, physical and chemical action.

3. Resistance reduction: PAM can effectively reduce the friction resistance of fluid, adding trace PAM in water can reduce resistance by 50-80%.

4. Thickening: PAM can be thickened under neutral and acid conditions, and PAM with PH value above 10 is easy to hydrolyze. Thickening will be more obvious when the structure is semi-reticulate.
