About KelloCel™

KelloCel™ is customized toward a diverse set of applications. Non-toxic, biodegradable, and completely safe, KelloCel™ is a key additive that improves texture, workability, strength, or other key functions of wide array of products, including food, medicine, oil drilling, personal care, detergents, paints and coatings, and building materials.

KelloCel™ can be used to emulsify, to provide viscous body, to enhance lather in aqueous solutions/suspensions. It can be used to bind, to slow down water loss, to enhance cement setting strength in thin layer cementitious construction materials. KelloCel™ Hydroxypropyl Methyl cellulose (HPMC, MHPC) is used in the production of adhesives, construction dry-mix mortar (such as cement-based tile adhesive, tile grout, skim coat, EIFS, self-leveling, gypsum plaster etc), personal care, detergents and surfactants, water-based paints & coatings, foods, agriculture and the textile industry.

Great Paints with KelloCel™

The need to beautify our living and working space has been with us since the dawn of time, and nothing is quite the same as putting on a classy, joyous layer of color that stands the test of time, in the last two decades water-based paint arrived to make our spaces more comfortable, more beautiful, longer lasting, and safer. But it was only made possible through one critical advance — the adoption of water soluble thickeners such as KelloCel™.  KelloCel™ thickens and emulsifies the paint, it also improves consistency, storage stability, brush-ability, and thickening efficiency. KelloCel™ provides good coating performance for latex paints, especially for high PVC water-based paints. When high viscosity KelloCel™ grade is applied in paint, there is no flocculation, and brings efficient thickening and suspension properties. It will help you save some cost due to lower dosage. With good rheological property, KelloCel™ prevents the layering of paint, and keeps the good fluidity when pouring and applying. KelloCel™ E / MP offers excellent color compatibility, good rheology, and efficient thickening as well as suspension power in all water based paints, primers and final coats alike. Low viscosity KelloCel™ E / MP offers excellent spatter resistence, leveling characteristics, and prevention of syneresis, while high viscosity KelloCel™ offers unparalleled dosage savings as well as easy brushability.
