Magnesium sulphate Heptahydrate is the main variety of magnesium fertilizer. Magnesium sulfate contains both magnesium and sulfur nutrients, which can significantly improve the yield and quality of crops.It is mainly used in supply magnesium and sulfur nutrients for crops.Grass, soybean, peanut, vegetable, rice, wheat, rye, potato, grape, tobacco, sugarcane, sugar beet, citrus and other crops responded well to sulfur fertilizer.

In industry, magnesium sulfate heptahydrate can be used in many fields. 

(1) It is used for printing and dyeing thin cotton cloth, as weighting agent for cotton and silk, as filler for kapok products, as color developing salt for blue dyes, and as alkali absorbent in black liquor to ensure uniform dyeing.

(2) Used for making grass, fertilizer, porcelain, pigments, matches, explosives and fireproof materials;

(3)  For microorganism industry, Magnesium Sulphate Heptahydrate can be used as the composition of culture medium, the additive for brewing, and the magnesium for brewing water, which is used as the nutrient source of fermentation;

(4) Leather industry as a filler to enhance heat resistance;

(5) Cement coagulant, Pulp, rayon and silk fabrics are also used.

In feed additives, feed grade magnesium sulfate is used as supplement of magnesium in feed processing. Magnesium is an indispensable factor in the process of bone making and muscle contraction in livestock and poultry. It is the activator of many enzymes in animal and poultry, and plays an extremely important role in the metabolism and nerve function of animal. If the animal body is deficient in magnesium, it will lead to substance metabolism and neurological work.

Magnesium Sulphate heptahydrate is also used as Epsom salt.  An Epsom salt bath is known to ease pain and relieve inflammation, making it beneficial in the treatment of sore muscles, bronchial asthma, and migraine headaches. Mix a thick paste of Epsom salt with hot water and apply to get soothing comfort.

In medicine, Studies show that Epsom salt can help regulate electrolytes in your body, ensuring proper functioning of the muscles, nerves, and enzymes.
