Calcium formate
First, Product advantages:
Calcium formate is an early coagulant at low temperature. Its molecular formula is C2H2CaO4. It is white or yellowish flowable powder. Mainly used for ceramic tile glue, cement-based plastering mortar, repair mortar, waterproof mortar, foundation concrete and so on. It has dual functions, which can speed up the hardening speed of cement, improve the early strength, and avoid the problem of slow setting speed in winter construction or low temperature and humidity conditions.
Second, Application Guidelines:
In summer, the amount of calcium formate is usually 0.3-0.7% of cement quality, while in winter, the amount of calcium formate increases with the decrease of temperature, and the amount of calcium formate is about 0.5-1.0%. Excessive calcium formate content is easy to cause cracking or surface whitening.
Calcium formate is a chlorine-free accelerator, which accelerates the hydration of C3S in cement and increases the early strength of cement. Portland cement used in dry mortar is characterized by low early strength and high late strength.
Third, Building Material Industry Inspection
GB8076-1997 is used in industry inspection. The content of calcium formate is 2.5% of the reference concrete.
